The Southern Governors Forum has kicked against the removal of electronic transmission of the election result from the electoral act. Security operatives have dispersed Yoruba Nation protesters who gathered at the Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota, Lagos. The protesters stormed the venue in their numbers as the Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, was addressing journalists. However, immediately after Odumosu left, the police cannon trucks sprayed water on the protesters. They also fired tear gas at the crowd.
