Okorocha had earlier attributed the recent attacks in Imo state to poverty and injustice. Following the recent attacks in Imo state, the state government has accused former governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha of inciting youths to destroy public property. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Dino Melaye as the Screening Committee Chairman for the South-West zonal executive congress. National Organising Secretary, Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd.) made the announcement on Friday. The National Working Committee (NWC) also named Emilia Ezude as Secretary to the committee.
