Have you heard of Chirp, a platform for sharing data with mere sound? How does a lion communicate? With roar obviously. With just a sound your data is on the way to the other party. Heard of the history yet Let us rewind. The importance of sound starts with the rain, with the thunder, with the birds chirping around us. Obamania has gripped Kenya as the 44th U.S. President lands in Nairobi, the country’s capital, for a visit. From t-shirts, mugs, and caps with Barack Obama’s name and image to “Obama themed ringtones,” (“Yes we can!”) it will not be hard for the U.S. president to find entrepreneurs in Kenya. Among East African countries Kenya, Africa’s fifth largest economy, is considered a startup beacon. Indeed many have come to call Kenya “Silicon Savannah.” It’s a misleading title. Recently I watched a revealing public interest documentary on the pervasive effects of the Internet; specifically in regards to the negative impact of cellular phone frequencies on human health. The movie explained, in graphic detail, how human beings worldwide are in danger from the effects of cell phones and cell phone towers. T He film provided shocking evidence that the health of seniors, adults, teens and children are constantly at risk due to the unseen frequencies of cellular phones. But today In an unannounced move, Twitter no longer lets you see the customized background you added in the design area of your settings on the home or notification screen pages. Womp Womp. We asked Twitter “wuz up wit dat?” and a spokesperson said: We’re removing background images from the…

Facebook has confirmed that it has quietly started to test a “Watch Later” button for videos on the desktop — a little tab that appears as an overlay in the upper right corner of the video when you pass your mouse over it, or scroll past it — to get you to save and consume more of the videos that appear in your feed. The new feature puts Facebook’s video user experience more on par with that of YouTube, Facebook’s great rival in the category. YouTube also offers a “Watch Later” feature for its videos (seen here on the right). Facebook’s Watch Later comes almost exactly a year after Facebook…

According to Google, the Android version will go…
