FILE PHOTO At least 21 persons lost their lives yesterday in a failed suicide mission targeted at a Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) facility near Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. Hardline Islamists Monday burnt a church and destroyed a school in Funtua, Katsina State, during a protest over the alleged blasphemy of Prophet Mohammed by a schoolteacher.
