The police on Tuesday arraigned one 25-year-old driver, Samaila Yahuza of Katampe, Abuja, in a Wuse Zone 2 Senior Magistrates’ Court for allegedly receiving stolen property. The prosecutor, Cpl. Gideon Ekomson, told the court that on May 26, one Robert Aniyah of Proton Security Service Company, Abuja, reported the matter at Wuse Police Station. Former governor of Adamawa State, Admiral Murtala Nyako (retd.), who was detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, has been released. Imo State police command has confirmed the arrest of at least 68 members of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) for unlawful assemblage and procession.
