A 13-year-old boy has been arrested by the Police in Bauchi State for allegedly killing a six-year-old boy in a bid to snatch N500 from him. The police, in a statement issued on Tuesday by its spokesperson, Mohammed Haruna, said the incident occurred at Runtum Village in Nabordo District of the state. The statement indicated that the six-year-old boy was sent by his mother with the money to buy fire wood, when the suspect allegedly stabbed him on the neck and stomach. Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State on Tuesday condemned the defection of the former Minister of State for Trade, Investment and Industries, Mr Samuel Ortom, from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress. The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) on Tuesday said it planned to spend N1.27 billion on the conduct of council elections in the 20 local government areas in the state in 2015.
