A 13-year-old boy has been arrested by the Police in Bauchi State for allegedly killing a six-year-old boy in a bid to snatch N500 from him. The police, in a statement issued on Tuesday by its spokesperson, Mohammed Haruna, said the incident occurred at Runtum Village in Nabordo District of the state. The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) on Tuesday said it planned to spend N1.27 billion on the conduct of council elections in the 20 local government areas in the state in 2015. The Chairman of OGSIEC, Alhaja Risikat Ogunfemi, made this known in Abeokuta while defending the commission’s 2015 budget before the state’s House of Assembly’s Finance and Appropriation Committee.
