The Inspector General of Police, Mr Suleiman Abba, has given approval that junior officers with higher qualification should be considered and elevated to senior officer cadre. The Inspector General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba, has been ordered by a Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan on Monday to investigate allegations of crime levelled against the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi. Kaduna State Governor, Alhaji Mukhtar Yero said on Monday that if elected in the 2015 February governorship election, he would embark on what he described as ‘radical reforms’ in the state. Forty-seven ships containing petroleum products, foods, containers and other commodities are expected to berth in Lagos from Dec. 15 to Jan. 2. The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication, the “Shipping Position”, which was made available to journalists in Lagos on Monday.
