Unknown gunmen, Sunday night, numbering about 60, attacked the Federal Prisons, Ado Ekiti and killed at least one person suspected to be a prison official. A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has turned down the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s request for an ex-parte order that Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, vacates his seat. The request by the PDP came following Tambuwal’s defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Justice Ahmed Mohammed, ordered the party to put the Speaker on notice.
