I received some sad news today that macho Nollywood actor, Sylvester Madu was involved in an accident on Sunday November 2,2014 on his way from Awka to Asaba. The actor’s car tumbled three times but he came out unhurt and without a scratch. According to eyewitnesses, people rushed to help him turn the car back to its original position and he also helped pull it out.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal Tuesday drove himself to the National Assembly without his security details following the withdrawal of same by the Police. Thirty deaths have been reported by Yobe Hospitals Management Board in the bomb attack in Potiskum on Monday. 89 injuries were also confirmed for the 119 total casualties reported. Earlier reports have put the number of people killed at 15, and the number of people who sustained injuries at 50. Suspected Boko Haram gunmen have attacked a bank and a political party’s office on Tuesday in Nafada, Gombe State, according to witnesses. Nafada is a town near Gombe’s border with Yobe State. “They came in large numbers in vans and on motorcycles, shouting Allahu Akbar (God is greater),” Vanguard quoted a resident identified as Abubakar Galda as saying.
