The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Tuesday said that the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) will be closed to all traffic from Saturday 5th midnight till Monday 6am, less than a week after flights to and from the airport resumed. The World Bank has given Nigeria a grant of $8 billion for four years, as the global lender launched Nigeria’s Country Partnership Strategy (CPS), in Abuja, yesterday. A Gudu Upper Area Court in the FCT on Tuesday sentenced Rabiu Sani, 18, and Thompson Gabriel, 23, to seven strokes of cane each for constituting public nuisance.
