At least 15,000 people have been displaced in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State following recent attacks on rural communities by gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen. The National Conference has resolved that henceforth, any elected public office holder in the country, who defects from the political party on whose platform they got into office to another, would automatically lose the seat.
