Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram members on Sunday reportedly killed 15 persons, mostly traders in a local market in Daku village in the Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. At least three National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) operatives and three suspected drug peddlers were yesterday killed during a clash between the operatives and suspected drug peddlers in Sabo area of Owode in Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State. The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has cautioned tertiary institutions across the country against students’ extortion. Spokesman of the ICPC, Mr Folu Olamiti said this in a statement, following petitions received by the commission over extortion of levies from students.
