A 41-year-old man, Yusuf Akinbiyi was yesterday remanded at the Ikoyi Prisons by an Ebute‑Meta Chief magistrate’s court, for allegedly killing his 86-year-old father, Agboola Akinbiyi. Protesting youths of Makoko area of Lagos allegedly attacked policemen yesterday, as they try to execute a court order on demolition of parts of the area.
