The Chairman, National Convention Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Governor Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State, on Thursday, said 6,855 delegates would participate in the party’s convention. A 41-year-old man, Yusuf Akinbiyi was yesterday remanded at the Ikoyi Prisons by an Ebute‑Meta Chief magistrate’s court, for allegedly killing his 86-year-old father, Agboola Akinbiyi. Protesting youths of Makoko area of Lagos allegedly attacked policemen yesterday, as they try to execute a court order on demolition of parts of the area.
