Bayelsa State government says it will not draw its share of the 222 billion naira approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for states to clear outstanding workers’ salaries. New incidences of bird flu have been recorded in Lagos state, with an estimated 60,000 birds already affected, the News Agency of Nigeria reports amid mounting fears and panic. The bank, therefore, called on all affected organizations to comply with the directive of moving their money to the central bank immediately.
