The Federal Road Safety Commission in Ogun said three persons were killed while three others sustained injuries in an accident that occurred on the Papa-Ilaro road on Wednesday. The FRSC Unit Commander in Ogun, Mr Fatai Bakare, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Sango-Ota, Ogun, that the accident occurred at about 5.45 a.m. Bakare said the accident involved an articulated vehicle with registration number XB 641 BBR belonging to Dangote Group and a Volkswagen bus. Gov. Willie Obiano of Anambra on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rockland Development Limited for the construction of 1,000 housing units for workers in the state. Obiano said while signing the MoU that the housing units were one of the many programmes outlined by his administration for public servants in the state. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, recorded another success in its war against drug trafficking as its operatives nabbed a 51-year-old-man, who attempted to smuggle 3.870kg of suspected Methamphetamine to Nairobi, Kenya. The suspect, Odeyemi Ademola Ayodeji, was arrested during the screening of outbound passengers on a Kenyan Airways flight at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
