Some Socio-political groups in the South on Sunday lampooned the Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State over his recent letter to the northern state governors. The Kwara State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has appealed to the federal government to close down public secondary schools in the troubled North-east, pending when peace returns to the region. Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State has warned that people of the state would resist any attempt to rig the forth coming governorship elections in the state slated for June 21.
