Some Socio-political groups in the South on Sunday lampooned the Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State over his recent letter to the northern state governors. The Kwara State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has appealed to the federal government to close down public secondary schools in the troubled North-east, pending when peace returns to the region. A coalition of over 13 United States-based organisations under the aegis of Working Group on Nigeria, has written to President Goodluck Jonathan requesting he takes a drastic action against the activities of the Boko Haram sect.
