The new airport built by the Bauchi State Government has been named after the first Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa. Gov. Gunmen recently invaded a secondary school in Awhire-Agbarha-Otor, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, kidnapping two teachers and one engineer attached to a contracting firm working in the community.
