Ekiti State House of Assembly on Wednesday unanimously approved N19.6bn loan facilities for the state government. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the approval followed two different letters written by Governor Ayodele Fayose requesting the house consent to access the loans. A family of seven were, yesterday, roasted in a fire that engulfed a building at Lawanson, Surulere, Lagos State. Among those who lost their lives in the inferno were Mr. Kelechi Ali, his wife, Nkiru, Onoja, their baby boy of about three weeks, their son, Favour, about three years old.
