Thaddeus Atta, the Labour Party candidate for Eti Osa Federal Constituency in Lagos State, has been confirmed as the lawfully elected representative for the constituency by the Appeal Court.
InfoStride News states that the National Assembly Elections Petition Tribunal sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, had in September declared the election inconclusive.
Within 90 days, the tribunal mandated that INEC hold a supplementary election in all 33 previously uncounted voting units.
The tribunal’s order was reversed on Tuesday by the Appeal Court, which determined that the elections were final.
