Ex Barcelona manager, Ronald Koeman has come out to say that the team didn’t deserve defeat vs Rayo Vallecano. He recently revealed that it was just so very difficult for his players to settle into the game.
According to him, Barcelona have players like Aguero and Depay who can score goals for the team, but the general level of the team has dropped because the club has lost very effective players.
Koeman added that the losses have not been a problem of attitude or play, they’ve mainly been down to less quality in the team.
His words, “I don’t know if my future is in danger.”
“We have players with goals in them. [Sergio] Aguero, [Memphis] Depay.”
“It was difficult for us to get into the game, they put a lot of pressure on us. We’ve been superior. The result isn’t fair, but it’s there and we can’t change it.”
“The game we lost today isn’t a problem of attitude or play. The team’s level has dropped. We’ve lost very effective players, which also counts.”
