Bayern Munich captain, Manuel Neuer has come out to explain why the club has improved this season. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Bayern Munich players are playing with confidence again because Kompany has done his job to get the entire group playing like a team.
Neuer added that he and his teammates are more dominant during games now, and everyone is sticking to the coach’s preferred style.
His words, “We have that confidence back again. No matter which team we’re playing against, even against Leverkusen. We’re sticking to our style, we’ve been dominant. That’s something different than before.
The security that Kompany gives each individual is noticeable on the pitch, the connection we have. We play as a team!”
