Popular football analyst, Eric Garcia has come out to say that Jude Bellingham has not been bad this season. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Bellingham is clearly the victim of his own high standards, and while he has not been poor this season, he has clearly not replicated the same heights he reached on his debut season.

Eric added that Jude has been good with his runs, but no one praises you at Madrid for making good runs.
His words, “I’ve got so much respect for a player who arrived at Real Madrid a year ago and then was the top scorer, and was the most impressive player who played for Real Madrid in the past five years, in the middle of the park, better than Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. In the end, you kind of put the standard just too high. Everybody was like, “OK, if Mbappe arrived and with Bellingham playing the way he’s been playing, it’s all done, we’re gonna win everything!” And the team wasn’t as balanced as we could expect. I think Kroos missing is something everybody talks about. It’s hurting so much. Injuries, again, missing players that would have been very, very important.
And Jude Bellingham is a normal human being. We were talking about those superheroes that were in La Liga a few years ago, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, they kept consistency for 15 years. He had a small lull, together with the team. But again, we saw fighting. We saw him suffering and struggling because he couldn’t deliver what everyone expected from him. But he’s been assisting, the same way he’s been trying to help in anything that Ancelotti is asking: on the left side, in the middle, behind the forward, everywhere. But in the end, the team is the one who hasn’t helped him or his football.
He hasn’t been poor. I think he’s been very good in his runs. When you’re in Real Madrid, no one is praising you for making all of the runs. That’s why Dani Carvajal is there, to make all the runs on the right side, or Mendy, or whoever is playing on the left side. At Real Madrid you are expected to show us your talent and skills and goals. I think we’ve been a little bit unfair, not for me, because I always praise him. I think that he is one of those players that anyone, any team, any manager would love to have on the team.”
