Benue APC Backs Alia, Tinubu for 2027 Reelection

The Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has reaffirmed its support for the reelection of Governor Hyacinth Alia and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

The state party chairman, Chief Benjamin Omale, made this known during a Thanksgiving Mass organised by the Tiavnyam Development Foundation, TDF, in honour of Governor Alia at St. Veronica’s Parish, Agidi, Akpagher-Mbatiav.

The event, held to celebrate Governor Alia’s achievements over the past two years, also featured the presentation of an excellence award to the governor by the TDF.

Chief Omale described the recognition as a testament to the governor’s outstanding performance in delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Benue State.

“This award indicates that the people of the state are happy with the administration of the governor. It also shows that Governor Alia is enjoying massive support and love from the people,” Omale said.

He reiterated the APC’s commitment to supporting Governor Alia’s administration and President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, adding that both leaders have shown exemplary commitment to the progress of the state and nation.

“The party will continue to stand firmly behind Governor Alia and President Tinubu as they pursue their mandates. We are confident that the good work being done will speak for itself in 2027,” he added.

Omale also commended the TDF for honouring the governor and urged the group to remain supportive of his administration.

He assured that the APC government in Benue State would continue to deliver on its promises by providing infrastructure, ensuring security, and improving the welfare of citizens.

“The APC administration will keep working to enhance the living standards of our people. We will support every individual or group that identifies with and promotes the vision of Governor Alia and President Tinubu,” Omale stated.
