The Benue State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), led by Comrade Austin Agada, has constituted a Central Planning Committee and other sub-committees to ensure a smooth and transparent conduct of the party’s forthcoming State Congress.
The move, according to the party, is in line with the constitutional guidelines for nationwide congresses approved by the APC National Working Committee.
For the Central Planning Committee, Iorwuese Hagher was appointed as Chairman, while Titus Tartenger Zam will serve as Deputy Chairman.

Other members of the committee include Senators Emmanuel Udende and Arc. Asema Achado; Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev; Hon. Terseer Ugbor; Barr. Cosmos Akighir; Hon. Dickson Tarkighi; Chief Mrs. Regina Akume; Dr. Mathias Byuan; Barr. Pius Akutah; Princess Awuese Torher; Vincent Isegbe; Arc. Sunny Echonu; Engr. Nick Wende; Chief Philip Agbese; Rt. Hon. Sekav Iyortyom; Rt. Hon. David Ogewu; Daniel Ihomun; Comrade Dominic Alancha; and Barr. Danladi Ochekpe, who will serve as Secretary.
The Finance Sub-Committee is chaired by Hon. Arc. Asema Achado, with Hon. Benedict Akombo, Barr. Cosmos Akighir, Arc. Sunny Echonu and Chief Mrs. Helen Atom as members. Dr. Mathias Byuan will serve as Secretary.
The Security Sub-Committee is headed by Chris Tarka. Other members include Chief Michael Msuaan, Hon. Arc. Asema Achado, Hon. Loverty Makyur, Capt. Hance Dim (Rtd), Henry Usha, Tersoo Ifi, Victor Okwe and Terfa Samson Sende, while Prince Abba Yaro will serve as Secretary.
The party expressed confidence that the committees would deliver a credible and hitch-free congress in the state.
