Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has called upon the citizens of the state to continue supporting his administration and to join him in prayer.
In his Christmas message released on Monday and signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Tersoo Kula, in Makurdi, Governor Alia expressed his commitment to implementing strategic developmental initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for the people of Benue State.
Governor Alia also used the occasion to encourage Christians across the state and the nation to exemplify the teachings of Jesus Christ by demonstrating love and kindness to one another.
“As we celebrate the joyous occasion of Christmas, let us embrace the spirit of goodwill and extend kindness to all those around us.
Let us share the love and joy that this season brings, not only with our loved ones but also with those who may be in need of a helping hand,” he remarked.
The governor commended the resilience of the people of Benue State, acknowledging their steadfastness in the face of challenges over the years, and described them as heroes.
