Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema deserves another chance in the France squad, Robert Pires has said.
Pires recently revealed that it is time for Didier Deschamps to change his mind about having nothing to do with the player every again.
According to him, the issue betwen the player and manager is very tricky but he is not interested in whatever happened between them since the Frenchman deserves a France call-up.
He added that Benzema is one of the best strikers in Europe and Deschamps should look his way again since he has the final say.
His words, “It’s a tricky issue, one that has created and continues to create a lot of debate in France,”
“I’m not really interested in whatever happened between him and [Mathieu] Valbuena, but given all that he has achieved and is achieving at Real Madrid, of course he deserves a France call-up.
“He’s one of the best strikers in Europe. But [France boss Didier] Deschamps has the final say.”
