Boko Haram: It’s High Time Buhari Unveiled The Marshal Plan He Promised – Rep

Member representing Ohaozara/ Onicha/Ivo Federal Constituency of Ebonyi state, Hon. Linus Okorie, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to start the implementation of his marshal plan to defeat Boko Haram, following increased attacks by the terror group.

Okorie said this was of great importance as the people have become increasingly impatient and can hardly wait any longer for this to happen.

He sympathized with victims of Boko Haram insurgency, saying: “All hands must be on deck in support of President Buhari as Nigerians and the world await the promised marshal plan to defeat the raging monster of terror.

“Mr President must know that the people have become increasingly impatient and can hardly wait any longer for this to happen. He must immediately seize the momentum,” Okorie said.

The lawmaker also urged the president to use the new appointment of service chiefs to release the much-expected Marshal Plan on insurgency, terrorism, ethnic and religious violence, kidnapping and rural banditry, which he promised during the Presidential campaigns.
