The process of impeaching Governor Siminialayi Fubara of Rivers State has been initiated by the state’s House of Assembly.
In order to accomplish this goal, the legislators of the state served Fubara with an impeachment notice after ousting Edison Ehie from his position as House Leader.
Ehie is thought to be on the Governor’s side.

Twenty-four of the Rivers Assembly’s thirty-two total members have put their names on the impeachment petition against Fubara.
