The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Oyegun, today, February 26, says President Muhammadu Buhari is “an international salesman” marketing Nigeria abroad.
While defending the continued foreign trips of the President, Oyegun said the travels are opening up the country to more investors, noting that the move is “necessary at this point in time”.
The APC leader was speaking during an interactive session with journalists in Abuja.
He assured that Nigerians will reap the dividends of the trip by the time it starts manifesting in the coming months.
Oyegun said Buhari’s current visit to the Middle East is to canvass for improved prices for the nation’s crude oil.
He said the president is doing a “fantastic job” building and re-building the crack in the foundation of Nigeria.
