Pope Francis has come out to condemn the burning of the Koran in Sweden last week. He recently said that it made him feel angry and disgusted to see the Muslim holy book desecrated, and the world has been reacting.
According to him, any book considered holy should be respected to respect those who believe in it, so Sweden are definitely taking the wrong path.
He added that freedom of speech should never be used as a means to despise others.
His words, “Any book considered holy should be respected to respect those who believe in it.”
“I feel angry and disgusted at these actions.”
“Freedom of speech should never be used as a means to despise others and allowing that is rejected and condemned.”
