The Secretary General, Ladi Adebutu Democratic Organization (LADO), Omooba Sunday Solarin, has accused Senator Buruji Kashamu of being a double agent in the state’s chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). According to Solarin, Buruji is acting as a spy in PDP for the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC).
While speaking during a live programme on Silverbird Television, Omooba Solarin said activities of Senator Kashamu are a deliberate ploy to distract the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State towards the 2019 general elections like he did in Ondo election. He said the plans have been fully activated by the APC to derail the Ladi Adebutu team’s laudable vision.
Solarin further justified his position by saying “Kashamu has been the brain behind series of crises rocking the Peoples Democratic Party at the State, Southwest and National levels, noting that the senator has thus far been acting the scripts of the ruling party.
However, Hon. Solarin added that the National Working Committee is the custodian of the party and no man is bigger than the authority of the party, not even the Bayo Dayo-led faction.
While thanking the party’s supporters for their steadfastness, Solarin urged party faithfuls to be focused and ready in expectation of victory for the party during the 2019 general elections.
