Borussia Dortmund player, Marco Reus has said he was ashamed of his club’s performance in their 3-3 Bundesliga draw at home to Paderborn, despite his late equalizer rescuing a point.
According to him, the performance of the team was an absolute sh*t.
BvB, defeated 4-0 away to Bayern Munich in their last match before the international break, were 3-0 down at half-time in Friday’s clash against the league’s bottom side.
They eventually scored three goals to seal the draw but Reus was not impressed at all.
His words, “We can never play like that again,”
“We don’t know what happened there. We are ashamed, we must never perform like that again. That was all absolute sh*t.”
“The coach puts us in a great position every time. We’re responsible for putting our performance on the pitch, and we do not have to talk about the coach, but about us,” the forward said.
“If 80,000 people come here on a Friday night, we cannot offer that.”
BvB will be 8 points off the top of the table if Borussia Monchengladbach win at Union Berlin on Saturday.
