Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has come out to blast the Confederation of Africa (CAF) for making him feel like a hostage.
He recently revealed that he and his Gabon team-mates were recently forced to sleep in an airport ahead of an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Gambia.
According to him, African football can be better organized, but whatever is happening will definitely not affect him or his teammates ahead of Monday’s match.
He added that he wants Africa to grow, but the recent developments have been far from encouraging.
His words, “This will not demotivate us but people need to know and especially that Caf takes these responsibilities. In 2020, we want Africa to grow and this is not how we’re going to get there!!”
