More than 250,000 Canadian residents have signed a parliamentary petition urging Canada to revoke Elon Musk’s citizenship and passport. This is coming amid Musk’s relationship with US President, Donald Trump, who plans to levy a 25% tariff on all Canadian imports next month.
According to the petition, Musk has used his wealth and power to influence the US elections, and he has now become a member of a foreign government that is attempting to erase Canadian sovereignty.
Responding to news about the petition, Musk simply wrote via his X account, “Canada is not a real country.”
