Chelsea Fans Can’t Love Me After 7 Months, But They Respect Me – Pochettino

Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino has come out to admit that he is yet to feel loved by fans of the club. This is coming after a poor start to his maiden campaign at Stamford Bridge, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, even if he feels the respect of the fans when he meets them on the street, he does not expect them to love him after just 7 months.

Poch added that Chelsea football club has experienced success in the past, so he has to win a trophy to win them over completely.

His words, “No, no, I need to be honest with you, no because I understand they were winning the Champions League, they won cups, the Premier League. Why are the fans going to love me after six, or seven months?

We are in a final but we are not in a good position in the table in the Premier League. I think at the moment I feel the respect from the fans, I see them on the street and they are all nice to me, but I cannot lie.”
