Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney has come out to praise on Chido Obi after the young striker outshone Rasmus Hojlund against Fulham. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he really liked how the young striker put himself in some really good positions vs Fulham, and he was definitely impressed with his general play.
Amorim added that it is possible for Chido Obi to play ahead of Hojlund, depending on the opposition.
His words, “What I’ve really liked about him is he’s put himself in some really good positions — I’ve been really impressed by him. He looked like the one who could go on and nick it.”
Amorim added on if Obi can bench Hojlund, “Anything can happen in the next games. We need to see the opposition, feel the moment of the player physically. I will focus on just the next game. I will choose the best players to win the next match.”
