After gaining 28kg over the course of her second pregnancy, singer Ciara has revealed the intense workout plan that helped her get back her pre-baby body.
The 32-year-old told Cosmopolitan magazine she exercised three times a day, in between breastfeeding her baby daughter.
“It was kind of like, wake up in the morning, breastfeed, eat a small meal, go train, come back in, breastfeed, eat another meal, go train, then come back, have another meal, and then a third training session at night,” Ciara said.
“It was a good challenge — one I set for myself, not for anyone else. Taking care of myself makes me feel really good. And I want to keep it sexy too, you know.”
She has two children Sienna Princess, 1, and Future Zahir, 4, with husband Russell Wilson, an American football quarterback.
While she’s now slowed down her routine, she initially lost about 20kg in five months.
Ciara told People magazine she implemented the “craziest system” to shed the weight.
“I was even more fired up about getting my post-baby weight off (this time),” she said.
“It was just my own personal goal that I set for myself. It’s a whole different animal when you have two kids, and it felt really good.”
