Crystal Palace boss, Roy Hodgson has come out to say that he expects Wilfried Zaha to remain at the club this season.
He recently revealed that he has been told the Englishman will not be leaving the club during this transfer window.
According to him, if his exit was going to happen, he would’ve left for a replacement to be brought in time to help the team.
He added that he hopes Zaha will not be sold before the end of the transfer window because it would be difficult to replace him with little time left.
His words, “I have been told, and I think Wilf has had it made clear to him, that we are not interested in late bids.
“If it was going to happen, it would need to happen in a time frame which would give us a chance to see what we would want to do with the money.
“So close to the end of the transfer window, I would certainly hope it will not happen now and I want to continue working with him.”
