“Cut Men Off And Build Yourself” – Bolaji Ogunmola Urges Women

Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has advised women to put relationships aside and focus on building themselves. She recently had her say during an interview with Cyril Okoi, and fans have been reacting.

Speaking about the sacrifices required to build a successful career, Ogunmola stated that women should never feel pressured to maintain every relationship while trying to establish themselves.

The moviestar added that if cutting out men completely will guarantee success for any career woman, it is a good sacrifice to make.

Her words, “Don’t let them lie to you. There is no balance when you are building. Sometimes you need to cut out men and focus on your life.

I don’t think I should do anything and not do it well. It’s not fair on the people that will pay to watch it or tune in to watch it.

One lesson I have learnt from making movies is that it’s bigger than me. It’s a privilege to make films because it’s going to outlive me.

So when I approach it like that, I am more humbled that I am making something that is going to outlive me.”
