Daniel Bwala, the former spokesman for Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 2023 presidential election, has expressed his readiness to accept any position that would enable him to support President Bola Tinubu’s agenda for Nigeria.
In an interview on Channels Television on Sunday, Bwala disclosed his willingness to work with the All Progressives Congress (APC) government and support President Tinubu’s vision for the country.
He emphasized that his primary goal is to contribute to the development of the president’s agenda.

“If the president makes an offer of a position that I see will contribute to the development of his agenda, I will accept it.
I will more than anything else appreciate it,” Bwala stated during the interview.
He reiterated that his commitment to President Tinubu’s agenda transcends any specific appointment.
Bwala also emphasized the importance of separating personal aspirations from genuine commitment and value addition to the administration.
He highlighted his past support for President Muhammadu Buhari, during which he was not a public official, as evidence of his dedication to national development irrespective of official positions.
“I’m telling you eight years I supported Buhari, I was not a public official.
You have to separate between those who do not have value and are cringing and crying for appointment and those who believe the value and what they contribute has nothing to do with whether you are appointed or not,” Bwala explained.
Despite his willingness to support President Tinubu’s agenda, Bwala clarified that he has not received any promises or commitments from the president regarding a specific role in the administration.
Daniel Bwala’s openness to serving in any capacity to advance President Tinubu’s agenda reflects the evolving political landscape in Nigeria as preparations for the next election cycle begin to take shape.
His stance underscores the importance of competence and commitment in driving national development initiatives.
