Bayern Munich president, Herbert Rainer has come out to say that Declan Rice was too expensive for the German club. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the English midfielder is definitely a quality footballer most clubs would love to have, but Bayern had to look elsewhere because of his price.
Rainer added that Bayern Munich could not go beyond its financial possibilities during the summer transfer window.
His words, “With the Declan Rice deal, given our financial possibilities, we had to set other priorities. What remains is the club. That’s why you have to make decisions in the interests of the club.”
WOW.
