Como manager, Cesc Fabregas has come out to explain why Dele Alli is struggling for minutes at the club. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he is currently playing those who are training well enough to earn a spot in his team, so Dele would have to keep working as hard to guarantee his own spot.
Fabregas added that Alli got his opportunity vs Milan weeks back, but he got sent off and then suffered an injury.
His words, “I play those who train well and earn a spot during the week. Dele Alli needs to keep working. He had his chance in Milan, but was sent off and then got injured. When the right time comes, it just comes. [Anastasios] Douvikas has trained well, and everyone is available except Sergi Roberto and Dossena.”
