Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has come out to back Ousmane Dembele to win the Ballon d’Or after Champions League triumph. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he has no doubts that Dembele is the favourite to bag the prestigious award after the role he played in the club’s first-ever treble win, and he deserves a lot of praise for the way he defended vs Inter Milan.
Enrique added that Dembele has been a leader for the French club since the beginning of the season and he deserves to win the Ballon d’Or award.
His words, “I’d give the Ballon d’Or to Mr Ousmane Dembele. The way he defended tonight… only that can be worth the Ballon d’Or. This is how you lead a team. Goals, titles, leadership, defending, how he was pressing. Ousmane is my Ballon d’Or. No doubts at all.”
