Denrele Edun and Amira Ibrahim Alfa have been announced as red carpet hosts of the 2017 Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2017.
The 2017 Africa Fashion Week Nigeria set to hold at the National Theatre on the 3rd to 4th June will witness over 50 designers showcasing new collections on the runway with a theme ‘Celebrating the Vibrant Pulse of Africa’ in place to celebrate the rich culture of Africa and her style with designers in tune with this presenting their new collection at the 2-day event.
Designers including Modella, Kola Kuddus, Maufechi, Regalia, Zizi Cardow, Marobuk, Tash by Tasha, Linda Ngwi (Cameroun) Sally Bawa, Alex Akande (Cameroon), Afrikawala (Zambia), Del Africa (Jos), and Eve Design (Senegal) and many more are set to show their new season designs.
Denrele Edun and Amira Ibrahim Alfa will be interviewing key personalities , fashion forward individuals as well as invited guests on the red carpet at the National Arts Theatre.
She was one of the presenters for the before and after party at the just concluded AMVCA 2017. Amira has hosted few red carpet events in the past including, Africa fashion week Nigeria 2016, Ethan and Harriet 2016, Lagos fashion and design week (presenter for Prime Tv), runway FADAN 2016, a judge on the miss ideal Nigeria 2016 pageant and got Glam & Essence most promising red carpet host award 2016, at the Glam & Essence style award & runway show 2016. She also did her internship at Ebonylife tv in 2016, during her master’s program.
