Erstwhile Dinamo Moscow striker, Ruslan Pimenov has dismissed speculation linking the Russian club with a move for Nigerian and Fenerbache forward,Emmanuel Emenike.
.
According to reports, Dinamo Moscow was planning
a move for the former Spartak Moscow striker but the Pimenov opined that the club had better attackers than Emmenike.
.
He stressed that Dinamo needs to focus on the growth of their strikers and forget a possible transfer of the Nigerian forward.
.
Emenike current contract with the Yellow Canaries
expires in 2016 after penning a four deal in 2013 with
the Nigerian recording three goals in all competition
this season.
.
“And why you need it (Emenike), when there is
Kuranyi and Kokorin?.” Pimenov begins when asked
in an interview with rusfootball.info.
.
“I believe that this transfer would be superfluous. It’s
better to focus on how to grow your attacker.” he
said.
.
Emenike joined the Turkish side for 13 million
pounds, and scored 12 goals as well as providing 9 assists last summer.
.
The 27 years old was joint top scorer at the 2013
Africa cup of Nations and also had an impressive
world cup helping the three times African Champions reaching the round of 16 at the mundial.
