On Monday, President Bola Tinubu ordered his ministers to do everything they could to improve Nigeria’s economy as soon as possible.
During his first meeting as chairman of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) in Abuja’s Presidential Villa, he passed down the order.
Wale Edun, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, delivered the “Roadmap for the Economy” to Tinubu’s cabinet during the three-hour meeting.
Edun noted that the economy is not where it should be during a later briefing session with State House Correspondents.
He disclosed that FEC has analysed eight top priorities and established three-year goals for delivering on those priorities.
Edun further confirmed that President Tinubu had given the ministers orders to implement measures to revive the economy.
