The appointment of former Kano State governor Abdullahi Ganduje and Senator Bashir as the party’s new chairman and secretary has prompted a response from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
After the APC’s national executive meeting on Thursday, Tinubu issued a statement through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, urging the elected leaders to foster unity, peace, and love inside the party.
He thinks that Ganduje and Ajibola should devote themselves fully to the party and guarantee both good governance and high-caliber public services.

You guys are what the party is all about. When everyone is on board, the driver must stay awake. We also need a reliable brake system. He emphasized the importance of party allegiance.
On Thursday, the 12th NEC of the ruling party reportedly chose Ganduje as chairman.
