Why does Chris Brown always insist on being just completely awful?
Is it a hobby for him or something? Is there seriously not one single ounce of good in him?
And no, being a cool dancer doesn’t count.
There are so very, very many examples of Chris being a terrible person, from the Rihanna beating to the Karrueche Tran beatings to the beatings of several other people and things that dared cross his path.
There’s also his horrible attitude: remember that creepy video he made where he called himself a stalker when it came to women he was into, like it was at all normal?
Throw in his absolute refusal to just leave Rihanna alone after nearly killing her a few years back, and it’s easy to see why he’s one of the most hated “entertainers” out there.
Oh, and speaking of that refusal to leave Rihanna alone …
In an extremely troubling new report, a source claims that “Chris has always been in love with Rihanna, and he’s not asking around and trying to find out if she would talk to him again.”
The nerve, right?
Thankfully, a reconciliation between Chris and Rihanna doesn’t seem likely.
She seems very happy with her boyfriend, Hassan Jameel, and she has been for months now.
And, as the source explains, “If Rihanna ever spoke to Chris again, her family would lose it.”
But the fact remains that it doesn’t look like Chris is going to let her go anytime soon — and even if this report is wrong, even if he’s not reaching out to her friends like this, it’s still a fact.
Earlier this month, when she shared some extra gorgeous photos of herself on Instagram, he commented with a googly eyes emoji, like he had any right to do so.
He also got pretty weird about her in that new documentary of his, Chris Brown: Welcome to My Life.
In the film, he explained that he cheated on Rihanna when they were together, and when she found out about it, “my trust totally was lost with her, she hated me after that.”
But as he told it, they still stayed together, and they began fighting — verbally and physically.
“We would fight each other,” he said. “She would hit me, I would hit her and it never was OK.”
The night that he so viciously assaulted her, they saw the woman he’d cheated on her with at a party, and when they left the party, things got heated between them.
He claimed that she started “going off” on him, hitting him and yelling at him, and when she tried to kick him he punched her in the face.
She retaliated by spitting blood in his face, which he said “enraged me even more,” and things escalated from there.
So, according to Chris, Rihanna started it, and that’s why he beat the hell out of her.
Domestic violence is never OK, whether it’s committed by a man or a woman, but it should really go without saying that we can never, ever trust a word that comes out of Chris Brown’s mouth.
Regardless, does it really count as self-defense if you nearly beat the person you’re allegedly defending yourself from to death?
In addition to these alarming claims he makes in the documentary, there have been numerous reports that he’s trying his best to get Rihanna to warm back up to him.
And really, it’s all just way, way too much.
