Ghana forward, Mohammed Kudus has come out to say that he still believes the Black Stars can win AFCON 2023. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he is very happy to be back from injury because he worked very hard to be fit enough to help Ghana at the current AFCON tournament.
Kudus added that he wanted his goals to have an impact on the result vs Egypt, but it was not meant to be.
His words, “I am happy to be back. I worked so hard to get back to the top and help my team, my nation. It’s important for me to be here, it’s a mixed feeling.
As a forward, you want your goals to have an impact on the result. We made careless mistakes. Now we’ll have to get back to work, win the next one, and then see what happens. We are not out. The objective remains the same, which is to take the trophy home.”
