England defender, Tyrone Mings has come out to blast English fans who abused Rashford, Saka and Sancho racially after their penalty misses. Mings recently revealed that this is the reason why the players keep taking the knee before matches.

According to him, the fact is that those who described taking the knee at the start of the tournament as gesture politics cannot pretend to be against racism now.

He added that people should learn to pick the right stand so that racism can be abolished once and for all.

His words, “You don’t get to stoke the fire at the beginning of the tournament by labelling our anti-racism message as ‘Gesture Politics’ & then pretend to be disgusted when the very thing we’re campaigning against, happens.”
